Poultry

The Poultry Unit comprises of 22,933 birds managed in an efficient battery cage system, Monthly output averages 13,620 crates of eggs. Advanced biosecurity, precise nutrition, and skilled management drive the unit’s high performance, with plans underway for full automation.

Gari

The Gari Unit transforms cassava from SCL farms and local smallholders into 7.4 tons of high-quality gari monthly. With efficient processing and strong market demand, plans are in place to double output and launch fortified, retail-ready variants.

Compost

The Compost Unit recycles poultry waste and crop residues into high-quality organic fertilizer, supporting SCL’s sustainability goals. Using controlled windrow methods, the compost is bagged for use on SCL farms and sold to nearby cooperatives, creating both environmental and commercial value.

Crop

The Crop Unit grows cassava, maize, okro, and other vegetables to support internal production and serve market demand, aligning operations with seasonal rainfall patterns. Through the 2024 Out-Grower Scheme, SCL partners with rural farmers to supply key crops, strengthen its supply chain, and promote inclusive agribusiness growth.
